Cactus Makes Perfect
Take it from Enrique at Frosty Desert in Las Vegas—it’s important to work with a company that actually knows how to build a brand, not just a logo. They came to KickCharge because they weren’t getting calls from their vehicle wraps and their online search traffic was low. One of the biggest reasons for this was their current wrap design—it was confusing customers and preventing the company from earning potential business. Since Frosty Desert was a relatively new company, Enrique recognized the importance of correcting some earlier mistakes and rebranding sooner rather than later.
Frosty Desert already had a cactus mascot, but we redesigned it to help clarify their industry and line of work (people often thought the cactus was a pickle!). The other main issue with the vehicle was that their tagline, “Stay Frosty!” was bigger than their name. As a result, customers were searching for the wrong business name. We revamped their logo with a fun new version of their mascot and reorganized their wrap to make their name and contact information the focus. After their rebrand, we also supplied them with equipment stickers, yard signs, uniforms, and door hangers. Their new, cohesive brand was now visible and “sticky” in customers’ minds.
Enrique saw the impact of his new brand immediately: “As soon as I got the new design wrapped on the van, within the first two days, I got the first phone call off the road.” In addition to attracting potential customers, the new brand was resonating with potential employees. Candidates began cold calling to see if the company was hiring. A rebrand was exactly what Frosty Desert needed to crank up the heat and shift gears to ensure its future success!
