Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future

Kitty Langmade of Maloney Plumbing approached KickCharge to modernize her brand and pay tribute to her family’s legacy. The company was founded by her father in 1964. With such a rich history, Kitty wanted to keep her company name, one that is well-known and highly respected in her market. However, it was time to refresh her company’s white vehicles and logo, which was handwritten by her late father. She hoped for a look that better reflected the Maloney Plumbing of today, while preserving the value that had become synonymous with her parent’s company.

Our goal in redesigning the logo, vehicles, and stationery was to capture the essence of the Maloney family. The color scheme was already associated with Maloney Plumbing, so we opted to keep the red as a central focus while updating the vehicle wraps and logo with a retro design. This nostalgic look serves as a reminder that this business has been committed to first-rate service for decades.

The rebranding journey was a success for Maloney Plumbing, empowering the company to run their business their way: “When you have trucks that look that good, it gives you the confidence to charge what you need to.” The client loved the new brand, noting how “It really exemplifies everything about Maloney Plumbing. It resonates with who we are.” While taking over her family business as a third-generation plumber is a point of pride for Kitty, she understood the importance of updating her brand to stay ahead of the competition and continue growing. It was our pleasure to refresh the look of Maloney Plumbing while honoring the generational values instilled into the business.

“We really love the new brand. I feel that it really exemplifies everything about Maloney Plumbing. It resonates with who we are. It’s not just some catchy name.” – Kitty Langmade, Owner
