A Brand That Feels ‘Bigger,’ Elevates the Trades
As a young business, Trademasters Heating & Cooling approached KickCharge seeking a new brand identity—one that would elevate them above their competition while cultivating a hardworking culture that attracts top talent. With their pricing averaging higher than their competitors, Trademasters needed branding that reflected their trusted service and true value.
We started by designing a new logo with colors they could own in their market. This was the first step in helping them stand out from their competitors. This husband and wife duo really embraced the KickCharge process; they understood our decisions were made with their best interests at the forefront. They were quick and eager to offer feedback as we brought the new brand to life, from the vehicle wraps to the new brochures. We could tell how much pride they took in their work, which inspired the tagline, “Some Were Made for the Trades” to reflect that passion. We chose a nostalgic style for their logo, conveying both experience and professionalism worthy of a premium price tag.
The rebrand immediately impacted their company culture, too. According to the client, “Our first employee was super stoked [about the rebrand]. And then that’s actually what led to our second hire.” Everything we touched—from the logo to the vehicle wraps to the tagline to the print collateral—reinforced the new brand identity and instilled the idea that Trademasters is the elite in its field. Though the family-owned company is still growing, Trademasters now has the look of a much larger entity. Customers no longer need to wonder whether this HVAC company is reputable and worth their hard-earned money. The brand is doing all of the talking—and it’s sending the right kind of message.
