Gina is the newest member of our team of passionate project managers. She was thrown into the deep end of the pool from the start. Gina is no dummy. She knew it was sink or swim. So, she just keeps swimming. Gina oversees a wide range of projects, including naming, taglines, brochures, billboards and more.
Gina graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Journalism. She studied Strategic Communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in business administration.
During her time at WVU, she got a taste of the marketing world when she was part of a team of classmates who were given the opportunity through WVU Create A Thon to rebrand a local nonprofit organization. Create A Thon is a 24-hour pro bono marketing marathon where students spend their night in the School of Media creating a full rebrand for their assigned organization.
Gina’s favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends. You also can find Gina planning out her next adventure. She loves seeing new places, experiencing new things and meeting new people. While she loves being on the go, she also is down to curl up with her two feline fur babies, Murphy and Rosie, and binge on some “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Friends” or any show she’s engrossed in at the time.
“You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind” – Joyce Meyer
Gina’s greatest passion has to be traveling. She finds new places and different cultures to be extremely fascinating and thinks there’s a lot to learn from traveling. There are so many beautiful places to explore both in and out of this country. If Gina had to pick her favorite trip so far, it’d be Italy—not only because the food was amazing but the views, architecture and culture were like nothing she has ever experienced before. Gina doesn’t really have a specific bucket list of places she’d like to see. But, as her passport cover says, “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.”
