Who is the epitome of positivity and kindness? That would be our account executive, Kelly B! Along with her room-brightening personality, Kelly brings to KickCharge a diverse background in marketing and communications. After beginning her career at a digital marketing agency, Kelly followed a unique career path—one that led her back to her alma mater, Monmouth University, where she feels most at home.
After earning a bachelor’s and a master’s degree here, Kelly returned to Monmouth as a marketing specialist and worked her way up to the university’s director of marketing. In this position, she channeled her competitive spirit from her years of cheerleading to amplify how her team got prospective students excited about applying and attending Monmouth. She loved what she did—and she certainly was good at it. But then KickCharge entered the picture. Instantly, she could see herself here and, clearly, we felt the same way.
Kelly graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in communication and concentration in public relations and journalism from Monmouth. She also graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Arts in corporate and public communication from Monmouth.
Kelly really loves podcasts with her favorites focusing on health and wellness, pop culture and business. She also has a very eclectic taste in music. Her favorite genre is country, but you can find artists such as Five Finger Death Punch, Eminem, Pitbull, the Backstreet Boys and anything and everything in between on her playlists. She attributes her diverse music taste to growing up listening to all-star cheerleading mixes at practice and competitions.
When she’s not being the liaison for a client’s marketing goals and success, you can find Kelly, well, wherever her wanderlust takes her (check her bucket list for ideas). But, most likely, you can find her at home with her husband, working diligently to make their farmhouse feel like home. Or she’s in the kitchen exercising her love for cooking, trying to perfect another new recipe!
In the warm months, you can find Kelly at the beach, sipping on an iced coffee and listening to a wide variety of music or a podcast. Any other time she’s most likely sniffing out new scents to add to her closet full of candles, essential oils and all good-smelling related things.
