Marie was born and raised in the Midwest and proudly calls Michigan her home. Before becoming a graphic designer, Marie worked as an esthetician, where she developed a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for aesthetics. After her time in the beauty industry, Marie obtained her BFA in Graphic Design. This marked the beginning of her transition into the creative field. She later honed her design skills in the biotech and IT industries, tackling diverse creative challenges and crafting visuals that resonated with various audiences. She thrives on creating designs that captivate and connect, whether developing brand identities or designing for her Etsy shop.
Marie graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BFA in Graphic Design.
When she’s not immersed in design projects, Marie finds inspiration in everyday moments such as crafting clay charms, revisiting animated classics, and embarking on spontaneous travels. She also cherishes time with her loved ones, including her beloved bearded dragon, Biscuit, who never fails to brighten her day.
Marie’s proudest accomplishment is building her personal Etsy store into a thriving platform that showcases her illustrative fan art, resonating with a global audience of Studio Ghibli enthusiasts.
