Conor has been drawing since he was a kid, often spending hours sketching his favorite cartoon characters. His kid mind was blown when he learned he could work as a professional “drawer.” Studying animation and game design in college was a dream come true, and he spent 5 years working in the gaming industry (notable titles include VALORANT and Walkabout Mini Golf).
Working in games was fun, but Conor realized he did not have a passion for gaming. Instead, he discovered a growing interest in business, marketing and branding. He wanted a career that would allow him to be creative while also helping a business grow in a meaningful and iconic way. His adult mind was blown when he learned about brand design. Alongside his work in games, he also spent 2 years freelancing as a designer for friends and small startups while he figured out his next step. Eventually, that was how he discovered KickCharge®.
During college, Conor spent his summers working as a fish filleter in Ketchikan, Alaska. The transferable skills between cutting fish and brand design are minimal, but it was a fantastic way to start his working life.
BFA in Animation from BYU
Conor loves hanging out with his family. He has young kids who have unlimited energy, and it’s fun to try and keep up with them. He also loves football (watching, playing, talking about it, etc.), working out, spending time outside and eating good food. He still plays games occasionally, which is a good way to keep in touch with friends all over the world.
Marrying his wife is Conor’s proudest accomplishment. She’s the greatest person he knows and inspires him to try and be a better person. She’s an incredible mother to their kids, and it’s so fun raising a family with her.
