Throughout his life, Jerron has always been creative and intrigued by details. When he first saw Star Wars in 1977, he was blown away by the innovation and details that went into it. He also feels the same way when listening to the complexities of progressive rock.
Jerron went into graphic design because he wanted to put his skills to use. He likes learning about the details of a company, then brainstorming to come up with a unique concept and design that is just right for the company’s logo and other business needs.
He has created custom designs for multiple small and large businesses for almost two decades, and graduated with an associate degree from Salt Lake Community College. However, much of what he’s learned is self-taught or something he picked up while working as a designer for a variety of companies.
Jerron is proud of his most recent accomplishment—the renovations he completed on his home. Growing up in northern Utah, he always wanted to live in the historic area of Farmington City. He and his wife finally went for it and purchased a small neglected house in the area. They updated the inside, restored the outside and added an addition, doing much of the work themselves, including landscaping the yard. The house turned out to have a unique story behind it, and they were able to get it on the historic registry.
Jerron likes to spend time with his best friend—who is also his wife—as well as his three adultish children when they’re available. He enjoys yoga, meditation, weight lifting and collecting action figures from the 1980s. In his younger years, he spent a lot of time backpacking the red rock canyons of southern Utah. Now, he just enjoys long walks. If he sits down and watches anything, comedy is his preference, though he will often choose to be outside in his beautiful yard with a glass of wine.
